Paneltex employees support Hull Foodbank

In a heartfelt effort to give back to the local community, Paneltex is delighted to announce that a company-wide food drive aimed at collecting non-perishable food items for Hull Foodbank was yet again an unqualified success. The collection provided a fantastic number of essential food packets and tins to support families in need in and around Hull this holiday season.

“We are thrilled to be able to help those in our community who are facing food insecurity,” said Paneltex MD, Chris Berridge. “As we approach the festive season, it’s especially important to come together and make a difference in the lives of our neighbours. We hope this food drive will provide much-needed support to the families served by Hull Foodbank.”

Volunteers from Hull Foodbank arrived on Monday morning and filled their van with the generous donations. Clive da Silva, a volunteer at Hull Foodbank, said: “It is heart-warming to know that yet again employees at Paneltex have picked up extra tins and packets with their weekly shop to help those who are struggling this holiday season. It will make an enormous difference to the families and individuals in the area who are supported by Hull Foodbank.”
