Paneltex Portable Cold Stores and Systems
Since the beginning of Paneltex, we have been producing and improving portable cold storage units. Our close relationship with Dawsongroup plc provided us with the best possible opportunity to create portable cold stores from the outset. In the early days, Paneltex and Dawsongroup were instrumental in the inception and development of the modern portable cold store.
Available both in single units and in a modular construction, these units can be joined together to form complexes of multiple, easily relocatable cold stores. These units offer immediate additional storage capacity at any temperature, either positive or negative, with very efficient power usage.
Paneltex Portable Cold Stores offer leading thermal efficiency and performance thanks to our innovative insulated design. They are easily relocatable, with a module size of 15m x 4.2m, meaning only a single crane is needed to install, move or remove these units. Link systems are available to form complexes of buildings by joining multiple units together. Where necessary, Paneltex is happy to provide assistance with building regulations for units and complexes.
The range of uses for our units is particularly impressive, thanks to our years of design and production. We have a very effective solution where temperature control is constantly critical, as in pharmaceutical storage. We have experience of manufacturing blast freezers and chillers, on top of standard portable cold stores. Fire-retardant units are available and they can be located inside existing buildings, where some additional security may be required for insurance purposes. We have also designed and built a number of extreme high/low temperature rooms, for extreme temperature condition testing, as in testing of new cars.
Built to a high standard, with unlimited possibilities for specific uses and innovation, portable cold stores are an important product offered by Paneltex. Not only can our portable cold stores, storage units and complexes be used for storage, but also for use as production areas. They meet all current regulations for food hygiene and temperature regulations.
