Geoff Howard finally retires – after 54 years in the industry!

Working at Paneltex in Sales for the last ten years of his working life, Geoff Howard has retired at the age of 71 to spend some time relaxing with family and friends – although we know he will be unable to resist coming along to events and trade shows to ensure we continue to look after his customers and contacts!

Geoff worked for a number of companies, but notably spent 25 years with Dawson Group as Managing Director of Cold Stores, then as Group Sales Director, before spending 10 years as the Group Sales Director for Euroway Group.

Paneltex was delighted that he chose to join its Sales team in 2016, bringing with him a wealth of experience, which he happily shared with all of us and particularly his younger colleagues, who he enjoyed mentoring.

Geoff was presented with a very fine bottle of wine by Managing Director Chris Berridge, who said he would be very sorely missed by all of us. Geoff said, “I’ve really enjoyed the final stage of my industry career at Paneltex, working with a great team of people and seeing the Group grow substantially leading to this next stage with the acquisition by The Reefer Group. I’m sure with the opportunities this presents, Paneltex will continue to grow and prosper and I can only wish Chris and the entire team all of the very best for the coming years.”
