Paneltex is proud to announce that we have been included on the shortlist for GreenFleet’s prestigious award for LGV Manufacturer of the Year 2017, due to the latest version of our class-leading electric truck.
Initially a development project in 2007, the first Paneltex electric truck hit the roads in the UK in 2008. Since then, there have been successful trials and pilot vehicles in numerous customer fleets. The latest range of the Paneltex Electric Truck is built collaboratively between Paneltex, Magtec and Isuzu. It begins its life as an Isuzu chassis cab, with a Magtec electric drive system subsequently installed and the whole vehicle is finished by Paneltex. With available GVWR from 5.5T to 11T, highlights include a range of up to 200km, zero tailpipe emissions, high payload and pence-per-mile running costs. These vehicles really are an excellent replacement for similar traditionally-powered vehicles. The modern and practical 7.5T parcel carrier that we displayed at GreenFleet’s Arrive ‘N’ Drive event this year is the perfect urban and suburban delivery vehicle.
