Paneltex rapid growth recognised
Paneltex is included in August’s edition of Yorkshire Business Insider as one of the ‘fastest-growing companies with a headquarters in Yorkshire’. The editor, Ian Leech, writes that the businesses included on the ‘Growth 100’ list “have an indefatigable single mindedness and a virtual obliviousness to what some might call wider economic concerns”.
One of the businesses highlighted from the list, with a quoted average annual growth of 25%, Paneltex sits at number 80.
“This leading UK manufacturer of refrigerated and specialised commercial vehicle bodies produces chassis and panels as well as assembling, fitting out and painting the largest double-deck trailers on the road to the smallest delivery vans.
Its Hull headquarters houses some of the largest vacuum presses in Europe, allowing it to make single-piece insulated panels in sizes up to 16 metres long. It also has facilities in Norfolk, Hampshire and Lincolnshire.
In June, the company rebranded on all its media platforms. Managing Director Chris Berridge says: “Paneltex is a long-established and reputable manufacturer and the time was right to make these changes to present a house style in line with current thinking”. ”
